Double Degree Program (T.I.M.E.) - KTH Stockholm

Concerning the Double Degree Program (T.I.M.E.) with KTH Stockholm, you are going to study in Sweden for three semesters as a Master's student after completing your Bachelor's degree; afterwards you will be absolving three semesters in Master's program at RWTH Aachen. It is also possible to absolve one or two semesters in Master's program at RWTH prior to the beginning of studies at the partner university. In total, you are going to be studying two terms longer than the standard period of study and receive a Bachelor's and a Master's degree of RWTH Aachen as well as a Master of Science of KTH Stockholm, after successfully completing the T.I.M.E. program. The language of instruction is English.

The following Master's programs can be chosen at KTH Stockholm:

  • "Electrical Power Engineering"
  • "Electromagnetics, Fusion and Space Engineering"
  • "Information and Network Engineering"
  • "System, Control and Robotics"
  • "Embedded Systems" or
  • "Nanotechnology"

RWTH Aachen University students of the program "Business Administration and Engineering: Electrical Power Engineering" can only chose KTH's master program "Electrical Power Engineering".

Experience has shown that students, who already absolved one or two semesters in Master's program at RWTH, benefit from their experiences when beginning their studies at KTH. Students absolving their Bachelor's program in "Electrical Engineering, Information Technology and Computer Engineering" or "Business Administration and Engineering: Electrical Power Engineering", those who are absolving their first semester in Master's program in the above mentioned course of studies and students who completed their Bachelor's degree at RWTH Aachen or another German university, can apply for this program.
