The deadline for the application for the beginning of studies at the partner university in the following winter semester is January 15th!

Double Degree Program (T.I.M.E.) - French Universities

Concerning the Double Degree Programs (T.I.M.E.) we arranged with Universities located in France (such as École Centrale in Paris and the respective Écoles in Lille, Marseille, Nantes and Lyon), you will be going to study in France for four semesters after completing the fourth semester of your Bachelor's program. The language of instruction is French. After returning from France, you will immediately receive admission for the Master's program at RWTH, which you will be going through 'normally'.

As a degree, you are going to receive the prestigious Diplôme d'Ingenieur of the French partner university as well as the Bachelor's or Master's degree at RWTH. Of the total of six years studies, you will have spend four years at RWTH and two years at one of the French Écoles. If you are interested in participating in this program, you have to apply in your third semester already (until January 15th of the respective year). Students absolving their Bachelor's program in "Electrical Engineering, Information Technology and Computer Engineering" or "Business Administration and Engineering: Electrical Power Engineering" can apply for this program.

Aside from additional math lectures, the curriculum of the École Centrale offers subjects of the fields "Mechanical Engineering" and application-oriented subjects from "Business Administration", which is why this kind of program is suited for students who strive for a diversified basic education in engineering.

Language requirements: at least level B1 in French

The deadline for applications for a planned beginning of studies in the subsequent winter semester is January 15th in each case! The central online application portal will be open from December 1st, 2022 to January 15th, 2023, 12:00 p.m.!
