Tutorial Support
Tutorial is a collective term for very different forms of teaching, but each of them has an interactive character. Not only the small group exercises, internships and projects as such are courses from the Bachelor’s degree program Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, but also the supervision and realization of small groups, practical experiments and project groups, in other words tutorial support.
The tutorial support offers the opportunity to share acquired knowledge and at the same time to deepen it and ensure its long-term availability. In most cases, 3 credit points are awarded for this. The workload consists of the didactic training before and during the tutorial, the preparation for the tutorials, the realization of the respective tutorial and the preparation of a short final report.
In general, of course, a good to very good knowledge of the subject area to be taught is a prerequisite. The 5th and/or 6th semester is intended, but it is also a possible option earlier. Apply to the institute offering the course in due time before the respective semester. Tutorial support can, but does not have to, be linked to an HIWI contract.
Since tutorials are held in German, students who are interested in working as a teaching assistant should have a very high level of written and spoken German. Please switch to the German webpage for further information.
