The first-semester orientation in the winter semester 2021/2022 will take place from October 4 to 8 - although somewhat differently than usual - and will be organized by our student council so that the first semester students can also start well prepared for the first lectures this year.

During the introductory week for first-year students, students will not only get to know their new fellow students, but also the university and the city of Aachen. First-year students will be accompanied by tutors from higher semesters who will be happy to answer any questions they may have about student life.

This year, the first-semester introduction will be carried out in a hybrid way. The welcoming of first-year students by the Rector and faculty, as well as a question and answer session with the faculty advisors, will be conducted online. As of now, many activities are also planned to take place in person.
