Andreas Ulbig is the new Professor for Active Energy Distribution Grids

We warmly welcome Univ.-Prof. Dr. sc. Andreas Ulbig as a new professor at our faculty!

Since 1 April, Professor Ulbig has held the Chair for Active Energy Distribution Grids at the Institute of High Voltage Equipment and Grids, Digitalization and Energy Economics (IAEW). He will also take over leading functions at the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Information Technology (FIT) and the Fraunhofer Center for Digital Energy, which is being established in cooperation between Fraunhofer Gesellschaft and RWTH Aachen University.

I am looking forward to the starting at RWTH Aachen and the joint scientific work with the highly motivated team at IAEW.
